Jared - Senior
Born in the suburbs of New York City Jared Weintraub began his solo   career at the age of 14 in Manhattan, performing at open mics. A recent   graduate of the University of Delaware, Jared performed throughout his   college career at venues all around campus and to audiences upwards of   5000 people. His travels around the world including South Africa, Spain,   Italy and Israel, as well as every day life encounters, have inspired   him to write original music which droves of screaming fans have compared to Bob Dylan, John   Mayer, Ray Lamontagne, Dispatch, and The Beatles(to name a few) because   of the combination of his soulful vocals, insightful lyrics, and his   laid back and relaxing style infused with positive vibes.
Jared picked up the guitar at age 12 and taught himself how to play in   order to support his love of singing. Since then he has written original   music, which with lyrical inspired by travels,   feelings on love, intimacy, life and every day experiences we are all   guilty of taking for granted. The summer of his senior year of high   school Jared recorded his first 6 song acoustic demo, which includes   the originals “Why Won’t it Rain?” “How does it feel?” and “Barbed   Wire”. That following winter, he recorded his first full band single   “Why Won’t it Rain” at his uncle Art “Ski” Halperin’s Top of the World   Studios in New York, which is now available on iTunes.
